Specialized manufacturing training is completed before departure. Kiraboshi develops people who can perform on the manufacturing floor from their very first day in Japan.
Trainees master Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain (5S) through live-in training, so they fit naturally into the culture of Japanese manufacturing floors.
Before departure, trainees learn the fundamentals of health and safety on the floor, including near-miss (hiyari-hatto) awareness, point-and-call (shisa-kosho), and the Zero-Accident campaign.
Trainees study the basic processes of the manufacturing floor — pressing, welding, assembly and more — together with the relevant technical terms in Japanese, and also learn how to read drawings.

Our fix: intensive pre-departure training in manufacturing terminology and drawing symbols.
Our fix: KY activities and point-and-call are built into training, so trainees arrive having already absorbed a safety culture.
Our fix: having built disciplined daily rhythms through live-in training, they adapt quickly to night shifts and two-shift rotations.
Our fix: Japanese at N4 or above plus business-conversation training enable smooth communication with OJT leads.
