Understanding construction terminology and drawings

Intensive training in the technical vocabulary and drawing symbols used on site—"foreman," "rebar," "formwork," "curing" and more.

What we ask your company to prepare

  • Housing: arrange lodging near the site or a company dormitory
  • Safety equipment: helmet, safety harness, work clothes and safety boots
  • Transport: secure a means of transport to the site
  • Workers' accident insurance: enrollment and explanation (multilingual versions available)
  • OJT lead: set up a structure for training new hires
PITFALLS

Common pitfalls and solutions

❌ They don't know how to use safety equipment correctly

Solution: hands-on training before departure in wearing, inspecting and using helmets and safety harnesses.

❌ They don't understand the jargon, so instructions don't get through

Solution: we have them intensively study construction-industry terminology before departure.

❌ They can't take part in morning meetings and KY sessions

Solution: they are already trained in the etiquette of joining morning meetings, exercises and KY activities, so they fit in from day one.

❌ They can't keep up physically

Solution: through orderly live-in (residential) living and physical conditioning, they reach a state where they can work sustainably even on Japanese sites.
