EDUCATION

Training tailored specifically to nursing care

01

Hands-on practice equivalent to Initial Training

From transfer assistance, meal assistance and toileting assistance to the basics of record-keeping, hands-on training equivalent to the Initial Training (for care workers) is completed before departure.

02

Specialized Japanese for the care floor

Trainees systematically learn the terminology that is essential on the care floor, such as "wheelchair," "transfer," "vitals" and "handover."

03

Communication with elderly residents

Through hands-on role-play with Japanese instructors, trainees master polite language (keigo), active listening and a gentle way of speaking. We develop talent who can truly connect with the residents in their care.

PREPARATION

What we ask employers to prepare

  • Housing: a dormitory or nearby apartment (with or without a rent subsidy)
  • Working hours: clarify whether night shifts are included
  • OJT supervisor: a structure for guiding new staff
  • Work rules: a multilingual version (we can help prepare this)
  • Daily-life support: accompanying them to the bank, hospital, resident registration and the like
PITFALLS

Common pitfalls and how we prevent them

❌ Insufficient Japanese hinders resident care

Our solution: Kiraboshi requires N4 or above before departure. Candidates are already trained in basic conversation with residents, right through to polite language (keigo).

❌ Night-shift rotations can lead to poor health

Our solution: Physical and discipline training is conducted through live-in (residential) training, so candidates adapt to a Japanese daily rhythm in advance.

❌ Unable to handle handovers and record-keeping

Our solution: Care-floor-specific terminology and record formats are already built into the training curriculum.

❌ Thin support in the early days after arrival

Our solution: The Japan branch of Taiju Japanese Language School handles daily-life and workplace consultations in the workers' native language.
